Study finds podiatric care 43 percent more expensive than orthopaedic care


The AOFAS Ambassador Program exists to promote orthopaedists as the premier providers of foot and ankle care to managed care and health plan executives. Members of the Ambassador Program visit with the Medical Directors of the largest health plans in their region to speak with them about the efforts of the Association of Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society to promote education and research in foot and ankle care and to provide the finest care possible in a cost-effective manner.

The AOFAS is constantly compiling data and information about our membership to be produced as a managed care kit for ambassadors to bring along with them on their visits with healthcare executives.
