Choosing the right summer sandals takes a bit of thought but will be worth your time. If you’re an active person who attends picnics, outdoor parties, walks on the beach and more, you’ll want to invest in many different pairs of sandals to suit each occasion.

The Dressy Sandal

For dressy outdoor events, choose an adorned sandal with a sparkly stone of your choice. A low-heel sandal can be just as dressy as a higher heel option, so choose a sandal that feels comfortable. For summertime, you want to keep your look fun and painless.

The Casual Sandal

If you’ll be attending picnics and having casual lunches with friends, choose a colorful sandal with a wedge heel. For more support, try a strapped sandal or one that covers your heel. Espadrilles are a fun and fashionable choice, and you might choose one with a cloth strap that wraps around your ankle.

The Recreational Sandal

If you’ll be walking along the beach or hanging out with your kids, a flip flop sandal is a fun choice. Opt for one with a comfortable strap and a soft support. Invest in a variety of colors, including bright orange. If a thong sandal is not your idea of comfort, choose a sandal containing foot protection with an outsole that covers the toes.

When shopping for sandals for all occasions, be sure to try them on and walk around enough to get a feel for the fit. Some sandals look more comfortable than they really are. Your ideal option is a sandal that complements your feet and feels comfortable.

The Appropriate Shoes for Any Weather

Every woman wants to look her best but the weather does not always agree with her plans to match the perfect shoes to her new outfits. No need to change though, there are other options that are weather friendly.

Anyone who lives somewhere where it snows, knows the value of a good pair of boots. However, there is not need to wear those atrocious puffy snow boots with your favorite outfit. Today there are thousands of cute boots that are more than acceptable for snowy weather. As many people know, a tight fitting boot can be worn under a great pair of slacks or dark wash denim and still be totally appropriate, or if you are more fashion forward you could invest in a pair of boots that are stylish enough to be worn over a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. You also have the option to wear a cute ankle boot. An ankle boot will keep snow out of your shoes while still allowing you to look professional and stylish.

Another issues that is weather related is what to do in extremely hot weather. There is nothing worse than having to be at formal event when the weather is devilishly hot. And, while no woman wants to admit it, our feet sweat which can be not only uncomfortable but also smelly. Never fear, just because the event if formal does not mean that you have to wear closed toe shoes. You can invest in a pair of peep toe pumps which will let in a little air flow in. It would also be appropriate for you to wear a high heeled shoe that has designer cut outs. Remember that the shoes should look dressy and match the event, so you can’t wear flip flops but you can wear stylish shoes that allow for some air movement.

Fashion and the Weather

The weather can dictate many things and it should dictate what you are wearing out of the house. Everyone knows that they should wear a rain coat if they are going to be going out in the rain and snow boots if they are going out in the snow. However, people tend to get stuck in a rut with their fashion and continue to wear weather pieces even when the weather has improved.

Fuzzy snow boots are great to have when it snows. However, if you live in an area where it is sunny year around or you have not seen snow for months, there is no reason to continue to wear the boots. Several stars have been photographed walking along the beach in their snow boots. The reason for this is unfathomable. Not only are their feet probably sweating but sand is getting in places where it should not be. Fuzzy boots are both comfortable and easy to put on, there is not arguing with that, but you should not be wearing them unless there is snow on the ground.

Summer clothes should only be worn in the summer. Nothing will draw attention to you like if you are wearing shorts or a tank top during a blizzard. While those clothes were a appropriate in the summer, the temperatures have dropped and the clothes need to be put away. When the temperatures are in the negatives and you are wearing a tank top, you are drawing attention but not in a good way. You not only look like you are freezing but you are exposing to much skin and appear sluty.

Fashionable Shoe Switches

Every woman knoes the pain of having to walk around all day in a pair of really high heels or having your feet ache after a night of dancing. There are also cases where the weather would dictate you wear those terribly unfashionable snow boots when you would rather wear some cute pumps. However, there are great ways to pull some fashionable switches that save your feet.

If you started out the evening wearing a great pair of five-inch heels and half way through your feet hurt some much you cannot even imagine walking to your car to go home, then you need to invest in a pair of great ballet flats. Ballet flats are an adorable alternative to your heels. They are small enough that they can slip in your bag, and half way through a long night of dancing, or a rough day at the office, you can slip out of your heels and into your

Bad weather can be a real downer when you are trying to look fashionable. Still, there are several ways that you can look your best no matter what the weather is like.

Growing up in the rocky mountains, you learn the importance of this tips: always layer your clothing. If the weather outside your window looks like it might rain or snow, then the best thing that you can do is layer and hope for the best. You should always start with a nice tailored shirt. If the morning is chilly but the weather might improve as the day progresses, make sure that the shirt will be appropriate if you are going to be taking off the top layers. This means, if you are going into the office, make sure the shirt can be worn alone. Next, layer a sensible over shirt. A great cardigan is always appropriate and can help to keep you warm. A tailored jacket is always a good investment and can help to complete a look. Make sure that the jacket fits you well and is appropriate for whatever you are doing during day. Just because it might snow does mean that it is alright to wear your snow coat to work. Always remember that if the weather improves and turns sunny you can take off the layers until you are comfortable. Finally, when in doubt, wear a good pair of closed toe shoes. Boots can be worn year around and always look good no matter what the weather is like. If the weather turns stormy then you are prepared with good shoes.
